We use our specialist skills and extensive experience to deliver land owners the best possible planning permission for their land by adopting a bespoke approach to every site. Not only do we need to consider the physical constraints, environmental designations and planning policy affecting a site but crucially, we have to work out when is the best time to take the site forward and what strategy to adopt.
Ross Samuel, Land Director
Each land owner has their own specific requirements and aspirations. We pride ourselves on our flexible approach to land owners’ needs. As part of MJ Gleeson plc, we’ve worked side-by-side with land owners including private individuals, farmers, businesses and public sector organisations; helping them realise their land’s development value.
A bespoke, site specific planning strategy is designed in accordance with National and Local Planning Policy, encompassing all the necessary and appropriate steps to be taken in order to secure the land owner a marketable and deliverable planning permission.
Following analysis of planning policy and a desktop assessment of physical constraints and environmental designations, “land of interest” is identified. Once negotiations with land owners are completed and contracts signed, promotion begins.
The land is bought from the land owner and the site is developed.
A technical constraints and opportunity assessment helps inform how to maximise the development potential of the land. Multiple reports are commissioned to support the preparation of a planning application, which will be submitted at the most appropriate time during the process.
